No. Cape Boat Club is being developed as a membership club rather than a conventional short-term boat rental business.

03When will Cape Boat Club launch?

Cape Boat Club is planned to launch in Cape Town in 2027.

04Where will the Club be based?

The Club will operate in Cape Town. The final marina location will be announced ahead of launch.

05What boats will be available?

The launch fleet is currently being developed. Fleet details will be announced before membership applications open.

06How much will membership cost?

Membership structures and launch pricing are currently being finalised. Registered prospects will be kept informed as we get closer to launch.

07Do I need a skipper’s certificate?

The exact competency and onboarding requirements will depend on the type of boating and vessels available. Full requirements will be communicated before launch. If you do not currently hold an appropriate skipper’s certificate, you can tell us when registering that you would be interested in obtaining one through the Cape Boat Club ecosystem.
